Control them using App Tamer
Find the culprits and control them. With App Tamer, you only need to perform the following actions:
- Launch App Tamer and click its icon on your menu bar
- Click to use a large number of central processing units
- Tell App Tamer to slow down or stop the application

Detecting CPU usage
